    In Oct 2011 I would like to buy a customized disney watch with a character sketch inside it from the Sunset Club Coulture store in Disney's Hollywood Studios, could you please tell me if I need a reservation to do this and how much money to save for it.

    You are going to absolutely love having a one-of-a-kind watch created for you! We had one designed for my husband a few years ago to commemorate a new job he received. And to this day, he still wears his watch.

    Guests can visit Sunset Club Couture in Hollywood Studios and choose from many Disney characters for their timepiece. A Disney artist then hand sketches the character, complete with your name or date or any other way you want to personalize the face of your watch. My husband chose Professor Von Drake. The artist made the artwork sepia-toned (one color).

    For an additional fee, we asked to have the original artwork custom framed.

    The watch and the frame were all shipped to our home in Ohio.

    If memory serves me correctly, three years ago we paid around $300. But remember, prices will vary if you choose several colors for your artwork versus just one or two. Because everything was tailored specifically to how my husband wanted, we were really happy with the watch and the artwork. It's a gift that he will always cherish!
