Hi Alfredo!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, fellow Texan! Your Very Merrytime adventure at sea will be here before you know it and there is SO MUCH awaiting you and your family onboard! I highly recommend downloading the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app prior to your sailing to have access to a complete schedule of onboard fun and entertainment as well as menus and deck plans! You can also set the in-app cruise countdown clock now and watch the days tick away!
I checked with my friends at Disney Cruise Line about your Mouseketeer and policy states that only children ages 3-12 can participate in the Oceaneer Club and Lab and children ages 11-14 are invited to participate in The Edge. That being said, I do recommend visiting with the Youth Counselors in the Oceaneer Club and Lab when you get onboard to see if there are any exceptions made for your special kiddo. There are no guarantees that they can honor your request, but it never hurts to ask. If an exception cannot be made, then certainly discuss any concerns with the Youth Counselors at The Edge to ensure that your kiddo has the most fun possible! The counselors are fantastic and will do whatever they can to make it a magical vacation for all! Also check the Personal Navigator (or app!) for Open House hours in which you can accompany your child into the
different youth areas to play alongside them! My family always enjoys the Open House opportunities because my boys get to see the “bigger kid” areas and they also love showing us the fun things they do in their own club!
As your resEARch and planning continues for your magical adventure, please don’t hesitate to come back with any additional questions you may have!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
