Hi Lora,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Sometimes I can’t decide what I love most about Walt Disney World – the attractions, being inside the magical bubble, or the delicious food? Then I realize I don’t have to choose and I am free to love it all!
I always check menus before making Advance Dining Reservations, because I want to be sure we are all going to find something we like. From the
Walt Disney World Dining page, browse for restaurants. When you see one you’d like to explore, click on it, and its page will load. You’ll see “View Menu” in the blue box on the right side of the restaurant’s image. Using your My Disney Experience app, select “Dining” from the top menu. You’ll see a list of restaurants; select the one you’d like to explore and you’ll see a “View Menu" icon. Please remember that menus are subject to change at any time.
You might also want to check out the new
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering option for select Quick Service locations. With a large party, you could really cut your wait time by ordering in advance.
Lora, when making dining reservations for large parties, I find it easiest to call (407) WDW-DINE and have a Cast Member help me search reservations. Sometimes the reservation needs to be split into two tables, but the Cast Member can make a note to place the tables close together if possible. Also, remember that you don’t need to share every meal together. When our extended family travels together, we try to break into smaller groups for some of the time so we can enjoy some quieter and more personal time together.
Wishing your whole group a magical vacation,
Robyn
