Hiya, Alison! It looks like you have just a few more sleeps before your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth Hot dog! I'm glad you stopped by planDisney so we can help get you ready to leave today and immerse in a world of wonder and Pixie Dust.
Walt Disney World Resort is committed to making the magic accessible to all Guests. The
Disability Access Service, or DAS, is one of the programs offered to accommodate Guests who, due to a developmental disability such as autism or a similar condition, are unable to wait in a conventional queue for an extended period. DAS allows Guests to request a return time for a specific experience that is comparable to the current standby wait.
You can request an appointment to
register for DAS within 60 days of your visit to the theme parks. The process starts with a live video chat to determine eligibility.
For your live video chat, make sure you have signed in to the Walt Disney World Resort website and linked a valid theme park admission for each member of your party. The person who is requesting to use DAS must also be present. From the
registration web page, read and accept the Terms and Conditions and click "Request Live Video Chat," which is available between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern. If you are determined to be eligible, the Cast Member will assist you with the registration process.
In addition to DAS, Walt Disney World offers additional
accommodations for Guests with other disabilities and needs, including Attraction Queue Re-Entry or Meet-Up,
Rider Switch and
Single Rider, among other options.
I hope this information is helpful, Alison. If you have any other questions, please drop back by
planDisney. You've got a friend in us!
See 'Ya Real Soon!
