how to obtain disability access to rides?

Hello there, Richard! Welcome to planDisney, where we're passionate about helping fellow Guests plan magical Disney vacations!

I see that you'll be arriving here at the Walt Disney World Resort in only a matter of weeks. That's awesome! I really suggest that you take advantage of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, especially since you'll be here for its final couple of days. This festival is absolutely breathtaking with all the chalk art, the artists' booths, the Broadway-style shows, and all the amazing and creative food scattered all throughout the theme park. I'm sure that you'll love it!

Richard, as a fellow Disability Access Service (DAS) user, I would love to help you out today! In order for you to activate this service, there are two options you could choose from. The first option is relatively new and very convenient, as it lets you do it through a live chat with a Cast Member up to 30 days before your arrival, but no less than two. During this pre-registration live chat, the friendly Cast Member will ask you a series of questions to figure out if the service is right for you, and you'll also be able to book up to two selections in advance.

Your second option would be to wait until you're physically at the Walt Disney World Resort, where you'll be able to activate it at any Guest Relations location within the theme parks. That being said, please keep in mind that this will likely take a little bit longer and you will probably need to wait in a standard queue-like environment in order to get it done. Richard, just know that the awesome Cast Members will assist you with any questions you might have regarding how to book your next attraction selections, no matter which option you decide to go with. Please don't hesitate to come back and ask me any other questions you might have about the DAS or anything else!

    Have a magical day,
