    how do we obtain complimentary magicbands?

    Hi Maria, and welcome to planDisney!

    Before you know it, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will begin, and I can only imagine the eagerness you have knowing that you will be creating some delightful memories with your family!

    The complimentary MagicBands have been discontinued; however, you should still be able to purchase them for your upcoming vacation if you act fast. You can place your order from your My Disney Experience account, and when you “Choose MagicBands” from the app, log in, and it will provide you with the MagicBands available for your vacation. I took the liberty of searching (because I have a vacation planned), and there is currently a good selection. Another option, if you are ok with not having the MagicBands customized on the back, you can order from shopDisney and have them linked to your My Disney Experience account when they arrive. Like the discounted ones offered, the shopDisney selections change periodically. Please note that depending on your arrival date, you can order your MagicBands up to 11 days prior to your arrival to have them delivered to your home. If you wait 10 - 6 days before your arrival, the MagicBands will be delivered to your resort.
