Hi Susan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm happy to help with your vacation planning question.
Captain Hook's Pirate Crew is a fun-filled interactive dining adventure for children ages 4-12 that takes place at
Disney's Beach Club Resort nightly from 5 and 8:30 PM. Parents can drop off their little pirates beginning at 4:30 PM at Seaside Retreat, and the crew will take it from there. This new offering sounds like so much fun. I know my own kids would LOVE to participate, and my husband and I would take advantage of some alone time in the theme parks or resorts. Since our children are huge fans of anything pirate related, this will definitely be on our itinerary for our next vacation. I can picture our son and daughter searching for pirate treasure while my husband and I dine at one of our favorite nearby restaurants,
Flying Fish. What a perfect evening for the whole family!
Susan, I spoke with a Walt Disney World Cast Member regarding your question, and she informed me that YES - if your child has medication needs while participating in Captain Hook's Pirate Crew, you can make arrangements before the start of the activity in order to apply the accommodations required. You should also be sure to note this with a Cast Member when you call to make reservations. Speaking of which, reservations are strongly recommended, as availability is limited, so when you are ready to reserve a spot with Captain Hook, call (407)-824-5437.
I hope you have a magical vacation to Walt Disney World this spring, and that the children have a swashbuckling good time with Captain Hook and his crew!
Anchors aweigh!
