Hi Chrystal! I am so excited to “sea” that you have a
Very Merrytime Cruise planned. Your crew must be so excited! I'm dreaming of planning one of those myself for the holidays.
I have a thing about having clothing options and accessories when I travel. Translation: I'm an overpacker. So you are asking the right person about how much luggage you can bring onboard your Disney cruise!
According to the
Cruise Contract, Disney Cruise Line allows each guest to bring two pieces of checked luggage, a carry on bag, and a personal item. The carry on bag you choose must meet typical airline carry on luggage dimensions and be able to go through the cruise terminal scanners. In my carry on bag, I keep our swimsuits so we are ready to visit the pool and don't have to wait around for our luggage to arrive to make a splash!
A few weeks prior to your cruise, you will receive a Guest Travel Booklet and
Luggage Tags. This always gets me even more excited about our upcoming sail. No need to do anything with the luggage tags until you arrive at the port; it's just nice to have them at the ready.
When putting together your
packing list, be mindful that there are some
prohibited items. Additionally, if you do choose to bring
alcohol on board, make sure you pack it in your carry on bag and comply with the per person limits.
That's about all I can PACK into this answer. Cruise on by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again if you have any questions-we'd be happy to SEA you again!
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
