Hi there, Beverly! Welcome to planDisney.
I’m also counting down the weeks until my June vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! We are going to be soaking up the Florida sunshine, cooling off with Mickey-shaped ice cream, and enjoying all the magical vibes very soon – hurray!
To make Disney Park Pass reservations for your visit dates, you will need to link your theme park tickets to your
My Disney Experience account. I think you’re describing plastic ticket cards, which should have a number on the back at the bottom. There may be a silver area to scratch off to reveal your full ticket number. Let’s walk through the steps to link those to your My Disney Experience account.
I’m going to walk you through the steps to link the tickets in the
My Disney Experience mobile app, but the steps for the desktop version are very similar. Once you’re logged in to the app, tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom right. Then, tap “Tickets and Passes.” On that screen, tap “+” to add a ticket, and then “Link Tickets & Passes.” (If you need to purchase more tickets, you can do so using the “Buy Tickets” option on the top left of this screen.) On the next screen, you will either be able to scan the bar code on the back of your ticket, or manually enter the ID number from the back of your ticket. Since I think you might be asking about standard ticket cards as well as military promotional theme park tickets, you can tap “Where is my ID code?” to see a list of sample tickets with the ticket ID highlighted.
Once the system accepts your ticket number, follow the steps to link your ticket to your My Disney Experience profile. If you’re linking multiple tickets, follow the steps with each ticket to link the ticket to each Guest’s My Disney Experience Profile. If you have any trouble, please
call (407) 939-4357 and a Cast Member will be happy to assist you.
Once you’ve linked your tickets, you’re ready to make your
Disney Park Pass reservations. I recommend doing this as soon as you can, as theme park capacity is limited and some parks have already reached their limits for June. If you find the park you’d hoped to visit has no
availability, please keep trying. I have several friends who have had success by refreshing the page!
If you need to purchase additional tickets, you may follow the steps in the app that I mentioned above, or visit the
Theme Park Tickets web page. If you are eligible for the
Military Promotional Theme Park Ticket offer, those tickets can be purchased at your local base ticket office, or by contacting Shades of Green, the resort for military members on Walt Disney World Resort property.
Thanks for stopping by today with your questions, Beverly. Please come back and see us if you need any more help as you plan and dream!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
