Is November 9th-11th going to be a disastrous time to go with crowds since the Wine and Dine Half Marathon is on the 7th and Veterans Day is on the 11th? However, it does fall on a Wednesday this year. Or do you think it will be okay?

    Hi Lindsay!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I have actually been at Walt Disney World for the past four years during Wine and Dine Half Marathon weekend and will be again this year.  I know from the past, and also from checking crowd prediction charts on touringplans.com. that crowds will be very reasonable again next month.

The half marathon crowd will mostly be gone by the time you arrive on the 9th.  Epcot will still be popular with the International Food and Wine Festival still going on, but not exceptionally crowded.  On the 10th and 11th, they are scheduled to be filming the Christmas Parade (that will air on Christmas morning) at the Magic Kingdom.  It's not expected to be more crowded than usual and that may be something you're interested in seeing!

On the Touring Plans website, they predict crowds to be a "6" on each day, Nov. 9th-11th.  (a prediction of 10 is the highest level)

I think it would be a very enjoyable time to visit!

I hope this helps, and please let me know if you have any other questions.
