When in November 2020 will the parks at Disneyland be decorated for Christmas?

    Hiya Nicole!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort is so much fun!

Holidays at the Disneyland Resort is my favorite time of the year so I can see why you are eager to get your plans all set for a trip to the Happiest place on Earth! My family never misses A Christmas Fantasy Parade or “it’s a small world” Holiday as they are some of our favorites for Christmas. There is no official start date just yet for Holidays at the Disneyland Resort but stay in touch with the Disney Parks Blog and you’ll hear it first there!

From my experience in the past, Christmas decorations start to pop up about a week before Halloween. I’ve seen decorations at Critter Country, New Orleans Square, and Mickey’s Toontown start to appear the week before November. By the third week in November, everything is usually in full swing! I always book a trip for the first week of December because I know the parks will be fully dressed in their Christmas best by then. I think it really depends on the official start date of all the Christmas fun. In 2019, Holidays at the Disneyland Resort officially started November 8th, 2019 and the Christmas Tree on Main Street U.S.A was up by November 4th, 2019. It's hard to know just yet for 2020.

Well Nicole, keep a lookout for those dates and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you have a magical day!

Remember, always believe in the magic!
