Hi we are going in november for first time for my sons third birthday, we are thinking of going to disneys magic kingdom to celebrate any advice or ideas to make it a perfect day?

    Hi Sarah!

There is no better place to celebrate a birthday than at Walt Disney World!  There are many things you can do to make your son's day special.

A character breakfast is a great way to start.  I would recommend the Crystal Palace.  It is a beautiful Victorian inspired restaurant located in the Magic Kingdom.  The characters at this meal include Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet.  Another restaurant I would recommend is Chef Mickey.  It is located at the Contemporary Resort.  There is a monorail at this resort that will take you to Magic Kingdom after your meal.  The characters at this restaurant include Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto.  To make dining reservations you can call the dine line at (407) WDW-DINE or you can click here to make them online.

If you are planning a table service meal you can also order a birthday cake.  Pre-orders for specialty cakes can be made when you book your dining reservations.

Once you are at the parks pick up a free Happy Birthday button at Guest Services.  You will be stopped by countless Cast Mambers throughout the day who will wish your son Happy Birthday!

The Disney florist also offers birthday backages that can be sent to your room.  Visit their website at for ideas and prices.
