On Nov 26 Thanksgiving day we have reservation at 3:30 at O'hana. Fantasmic plays at 6:30. Do you think it is possible to be done with dinner and get over to HS for the show in time for a seat? If so can you suggest quickest route to get us there? Thanks.

Walt Disney World is a magical place to spend a holiday.

I would like to tell you that if everything is running on time that your plans are indeed possible. However, this would require that you were seated immediately at 3:30. and allow an hour for dinner.

An advanced dining reservation will secure your family a seat at O'hana at the first available table once your family has checked in at the podium. Given that Thanksgiving will be a high traffic day at all restaurants, I would not be surprised if your family had to wait at least a few minutes. Once seated, you'll want to enjoy your dining experience.  After all, O'hana means family so it's a time to savor the company and your all-you-can eat meal!

You'll then need to factor in travel time. Your fastest way would be via taxi. Otherwise, you'll want to take a bus from the Polynesian to the Hollywood Studios.

If your family doesn't mind where you sit for the show, then by all means, relax through your dinner and then see if you can get over to Fantasmic.

If all the stars line up (seated quickly, bus arrives right away, etc.), then you'll be right on schedule to arrive Hollywood Studios around 5:30 for the 6:30 show. However, I would recommend a back up plan so that there are no disappointments. If you are running late, take a taxi. If you are running super late, then have an alternate evening planned.

My idea of a wonderful holiday is to relax with family and soak up the magic. Best wishes!
