I would like a way to notify characters or other Disney folks we may encounter that my daughter has autism and needs a little extra TLC during interactions. If I make a small "card" will characters be able to read/see it? Not sure a GAC will suff

    Hello Darrell,

A friend of mine who has a son with autism recently traveled with her family to Disney, and she was so happy with her experience. I hope you and you family find the same magic!

Each of our beloved characters is accompanied by a Cast Member. This handler keeps Guests in line and helps the character interact with the Guest. So you can pull the the Cast Member aside just before your daughter's turn for the meet-and-greet and the Cast Member will be able to help facilitate the rest.

    Hope that answers your question!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
