will I be notified when my balance is due ?

Hey there, Robert. I always love seeing a fellow North Carolinian stop by planDisney with a question. Waving hello from somewhere in the state!

Robert, the balance on your Walt Disney World vacation package is due 30 days prior to your check-in date. However, you can log in to your account and pay off your balance anytime prior to that if you would like. A vacation package includes a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay and Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets. If you have made a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay reservation only, your balance will actually be charged to your card on file on the day that you check out. This allows you to make charges to your room throughout your stay if you would like. If you'd like to have your resort hotel balance charged to a different card, you'll need to visit the front desk of the hotel and request this change. They are more than happy to do this for you but I do recommend you do it before the last day of your vacation as there isn't a set time that your card gets charged on that last day. If you are visiting with a vacation package coming up later this month and haven't received anything about your balance due, you might want to reach out to a Cast Member on the Guest Services team to make sure everything is okay. You can call (407) 939-1936 starting around 7:00 a.m. each day.

I hope this is helpful, Robert. If you have any other questions about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Have a great day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
