I noticed this year the end of November that one date states Magic Kingdom is open from 9 to 4:30. What is going on after 4:30? Is that a special party? That would mean I wouldn't be able to se fireworks that evening?

    Hi Ruth ~

November is such an exciting time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort as it transforms into a holiday wonderland for the Christmas season!

I am not sure which date in November that you are looking at but I do know that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) will be taking place in the Magic Kingdom on select evenings from November 9th - December 22nd, 2017. MVMCP does require a separate special event ticket. On the evenings that it is held, the Magic Kingdom will close early and only those Guests with a MVMCP event ticket will be allowed to remain or enter the Magic Kingdom once the party begins at 7:00 p.m.

Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks takes place during MVMCP evenings. If you have a special event ticket, you can view the fireworks inside the Magic Kingdom. If not, there are other ways to see them. You can set sail on the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage from Disney's Contemporary Resort. There are also fabulous dining locations that offer views of the fireworks including Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian Resort and California Grill at the Contemporary Resort.

Guests staying at the Grand Floridian Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and the Contemporary Resort also have access to locations that offer good views of the fireworks. You aren't able to see the projections on Cinderella Castle very well from these locations, but you are able to see the fireworks.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
