I noticed on the WDW site that evening EMH changed to being up to 2 hours where previously it was 3. When is this going into effect? The November calendar still has EMH for 3 hours. Is this a permenant change or just for the slow time after the holidays

    Hi JoAnn!

This is a recent development and it took a lot of us by surprise as well.  We don't have any details on the change yet, so I suggest checking back in a little while or looking for information on the official Disney Parks Blog. Disney has released a lot of information on changes at Walt Disney World on that official blog.

Disney has posted the park hours, including Extra Magic Hours, for December so my guess is the change won't take place until after December.  However, that is just a guess and guests have to keep in mind that Disney reserves the right to change park hours at any time.  Disney has not yet released Extra Magic Hour information for January or beyond.

My hope is this is temporary, but we will have to wait and see.  I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you now, but please check back with the Walt Disney World Moms Panel later in the year.
