I noticed a Special Offer for Canadian residents. If we show our Canadian passports at the hotel concierge, would our tickets be linked to our Magic Bands right away? Or do we still have to collect them at a theme park entrance? Thanks!

    Hi Lindsay,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Canadian. Isn’t that new Special Offer for Canadian Residents on Theme Park Tickets a great deal? I was thrilled to see that it was going to be back for visits to Walt Disney World Resort in late 2019 and 2020!

In previous years, these specially priced Theme Park Tickets could only be activated at a Theme Park or at Disney Springs, and not at a Disney Resort Hotel’s Lobby Concierge desk. From what I understand, the same rules apply this year, too. But, don’t worry, your tickets will be linked to your MagicBands “automagically” when you purchase them online. Just make sure to associate each ticket with the relevant person’s My Disney Experience account (make sure they’re in your My Family & Friends list) and you should be good to go. You’ll even be able to make your party’s FastPass+ selections up to 60 days ahead of your arrival, if you’re staying in a Disney Resort Hotel.

I hope my answer helps you plan a smooth start to your vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
