I noticed on the site that December DisneyLand tickets are not available yet. When do these tickets go on sale?

    Hi there, Mikeal!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for stopping by with your Disneyland Resort planning question. Oh boy! I'm excited to hear you're planning to visit The Happiest Place on Earth during the most magical time of the year. You've come to the right place, Mikeal - I'm happy to help you prepare for a fun-filled, festive holiday trip to the Disneyland Resort!

At this time, Guests must have both valid theme park tickets and theme park reservations to visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks. Currently, theme park reservations become available approximately 120 days in advance on a rolling basis, and it looks like there's availability through December 6, 2023 at the time of writing. Mikeal, if you're hoping to purchase theme park tickets separately from a vacation package (which would include hotel reservations at a Disneyland Resort hotel or Good Neighbor hotel), you'll want to wait to purchase your tickets until all of the dates you're hoping to visit are within that 120-day theme park reservation window. (For example, if you'd like to purchase 2-day theme park tickets with a start date of December 28, 2023, you should be able to make theme park reservations starting around September 1, 2023.)

Mikeal, have you considered booking a vacation package and staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel? Guests staying at Disneyland Resort hotels are immersed in Disney magic throughout their entire vacation and are always just steps away from the theme parks! Plus, Disneyland Resort hotel Guests can take advantage of early entry admission 30 minutes before the theme parks open to the public. Guests who book vacation packages will obtain theme park tickets as part of their packages, but will still need to wait to make theme park reservations within the availability window. Mikeal, if I had to make a hotel recommendation for a visit during the holiday season, I'd suggest a cozy stay at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The holiday décor at this luxurious lodge is simply stunning, and the Mickey-shaped gingerbread cookies sold in the lobby are not-to-be-missed!

I hope you've found these details to be helpful, Mikeal. If you have any additional planning questions, please feel free to revisit us at planDisney again anytime. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Happiest Place on Earth!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Lauren
