Hi, noticed several people mentioning a water park...does Disneyland California have a water park and if so does it take its own ticket to enter or can you enter with a regular ticket to the main park?

    Hi Rachel!

Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel! While Disneyland Resort doesn’t have a separate water park like Walt Disney World offers, it has plenty of water filled fun for the entire family to enjoy! I’ll share with you a few of my favorites water themed rides. My kids and I took a day last summer to go on every water ride that we could in both parks. It was a particularly warm day and we had so much fun!

In Disneyland Park, the first stop was Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. This was a great ride for my youngest who is a big fan of the movie! Next we went on Mark Twain’s Riverboat before going to our absolute favorite, the Pirates of the Caribbean! We love the mix of the classic look of the attraction with bits and pieces from the franchise's movies sprinkled in.

Over at Disney California Adventure Park is a great splash area in It’s Tough to Be a Bug! Princess Dot Puddle Park isn’t just for younger kids, I’ve been known to run through the fountains a time or two! Okay, let’s be honest, I probably enjoy this area more than my kids. A great way to splash, play and cool down!

I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any more questions before your arrival! See you real soon!
