I noticed that it says "timed half marathon race" on some of the events this year; what is the difference between those that don't say "timed". Also, do you know which resorts have been host resort for the Wine & Dine

    Hi Claudia!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I see what you're saying about "timed" being used in the description of some of the half marathons.  I believe it's just another way of describing the race.  All of the half marathons are timed.  They describe some as being "women's themed" and some have course descriptions, but rest assured...they are all timed! (and most importantly, they are all a GOOD time!!)

They haven't released the travel information with a host resort list for the 2016 Wine and Dine Half Marathon weekend, but you can look at last year's information to get a good idea of what they will be.  This information can be found on the Disney World Travel tab of the runDisney website.

I hope this information helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
