I have noticed that all of the resturants say childrens menus are for children 9 and younger, as a senior I can't eat much at a sitting will I be able to order childrens portions?

    Hi Sheila!

I'm happy to help answer your question about dining at Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Walt Disney World Resort does a wonderful job accommodating Guests with specific dining requests, including Guests who may have a smaller appetite than others. If you'd prefer to order from the Kids' Menu at a Table Service or Quick Service dining location, you'll be more than welcome to. The only time you wouldn't be allowed to do so would be at a buffet-style meal, where you would be required to pay the adult price for the buffet.

I have a 13-year-old that fluctuates between eating like a bird and devouring everything in sight. For those "bird" times, she often chooses items from the Kids' Menus for the smaller portions. I, myself, am a big fan of macaroni and cheese (which can't always be found on the adult menu), so I've been known to order from the Kids' Menu as well!

I hope this helps in your planning. Please let us know if you have further questions before your Walt Disney World vacation. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
