    Hi I noticed that all the burgers/sandwiches at Regal Eagle are served on garlic toast. Is it possible to get a regular bun as I have a teenage son who does not like garlic? Thanks

    I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question. Nothing makes my Walt Disney World Resort vacations feel more real than when I begin perusing menus to select restaurants for our upcoming meals. In my opinion, the diversity of dining options available is one of the most underrated aspects of Walt Disney World Resort.

    As a United States History teacher, The American Adventure in EPCOT holds a very special place in my heart, so I'm thrilled you plan to stop by Sam the Eagle's Regal Eagle Smokehouse. As a bit of a particular eater myself, I completely understand the necessity to occasionally request substitutions at a restaurant. I just spoke to a friendly Cast Member regarding this possibility at Regal Eagle Smokehouse who shared that substituting menu items at a Walt Disney World Resort restaurant is done so at the discretion of each individual dining location. While I cannot guarantee that your particular request can be accommodated, the Cast Member did mention that with multiple types of bread available at the restaurant in question, it is likely that the substitution can be made. With requests for substitutions of this nature, orders must be placed at the restaurant's quick service counter rather than by mobile ordering in the My Disney Experience mobile app. In the event that the restaurant is not able to accommodate your request, I noticed several tasty-sounding entrees and sides on the menu without garlic bread that might appeal to your son. 

    Bonus Tip: While you're in EPCOT, I encourage you to check out what I consider to be an overlooked gem - Living with the Land, an attraction where you'll be treated to a boat tour of EPCOT's beautiful greenhouses. If you enjoy Living with the Land, you can get a backstage peek at the horticulture and aquaculture seen on the attraction by purchasing tickets to the Behind the Seeds tour.
