    I have noticed their is quite a big price difference in the costs of the resort (value vs moderate vs luxury). What "more" do I get choosing a moderate resort over a value resort and then the same of luxury resort over a moderate resort. Thank

    Hi, Lisa!

    There are really two areas of differences when going from level to level of resorts. 

    The first area is location. Generally, the Deluxe Resorts will be very near one of the theme parks. Some will be within walking distance (Beach Club to Epcot) or on the monorail line (Polynesian to the Magic Kingdom) just to give a few examples.  Values and Moderates will provide bus transportation. 

    The next area will be resort amenities.  Deluxe Resorts have table service dining, some have dinner shows or signature dining, larger guest rooms, nicer linens, and fancier pool areas.  Values have no table service restaurants, no pool slides, and smaller rooms. 

    Personally, I like the Moderate Resorts that fall somewhere in the middle. You get some nice touches like pool slides, queen beds, and a bit more space than a Value Room. Even now as I'm answering your question I am staying at the Moderate Resort Port Orleans French Quarter, one of family's favorite places to stay!
