    Hi! I noticed that park reservations are getting more difficult to come by. From your experience, has Disney been replenishing the park passes closer to time? My trip is in mid-May.

    Hello Lauren! Wow, your visit is getting so close! I hope you have your countdown to Disney started!

    The Disney Park Pass reservation system was introduced to help manage capacity and physical distancing at the Disney Parks. There have been instances when additional park availability is added after a park (or parks) are listed with no availability. I booked a visit for Christmastime and noticed that there was no availability for Disney's Hollywood Studios. A few weeks later I noticed that the park was once again listed as available. As another example, the Disney Parks added availability to the Disney Park Pass system about two weeks ago for all parks! While it is very difficult to predict if additional availability will be added, I encourage you to check the Disney Park Pass system daily, if not multiple times per day, to see if additional availability is added prior to your mid-May visit!

    Lauren, keep in mind that both Disney Springs and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park do not require Disney Park Pass reservations! Blizzard Beach Water Park is so much fun for the whole family! It is also a welcome break from trekking through the Disney Parks! My rule of thumb is for every two-days of visiting the Disney Parks, the family needs a "down day" at either the resort hotel or at the water park! I hope you can find some time to cool off and relax when you're not visiting the parks!
