I have noticed that the park hours are only posted 180 days in the future. Does Disney tend to keep the same early hours each week? Also, would they be different if it is a holiday - I want to avoid the park that has early/late magic hours.

Greetings, Katie , and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m always checking the Parks and Hours calendar to update my trip with our best family plan, including searching on Undercover Tourist’s parks and hours calendar.

You’re correct with the park hours listings, but I find that it’s nearly perfect to schedule my dining reservations 6 months in advance of my visit, and has been posted for a great while when it comes to making FastPass+ reservations. I find that park hours, for the most part, are consistent, with holiday weeks typically having longer hours in order to accommodate larger groups of guests. I remember in the past, for a period of time, Magic Kingdom opened at 8am for nearly a week straight over Easter. As for Extra Magic Hours, those tend to rotate depending on offerings. For example, Extra Magic Hours were extended in the evening for Disney’s Animal Kingdom as Pandora attracted night time visitors wanting to explore the bioluminescent flora and fauna.

Be sure to check the calendars even as you arrive on property, as hours may shift and change without notice. If we on the panel can help you and further in your trip planning, please let us know. We are hEAR for you! ~ Lindsey P.
