I noticed under park hours that the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays are listed as 9:00 to 9:30, does this mean that the World Showcase is opening at 9:00 instead of at 11:00?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Charles! I see you’re gearing up for quite the magical vacation! Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays is really a fabulous way to experience the traditions of the World while staying immersed in the magic!

Inside the World Showcase, each country’s holiday heritage comes to life with music and various traditions. The JOYFUL! Gospel celebration will return, and a new Hanukkah celebration on the World Showcase promenade will welcome you as you enter through the front of the park. And you’ll be able to do just that right at 9am during the Festival of the Holidays, where the festival will be welcoming you. You’ll also find the World Showcase’s attractions (like Grand Fiesta Tour and Frozen Ever After) ready to enjoy. Make sure you visit Santa in the American Pavilion for extra merriment! I really enjoyed telling him all about my kid’s wish lists last year. I nearly forgot to ask for a new keyboard in my excitement!

I hope you have a joyful visit, and please let us know if you have more questions as your magical vacation draws closer. Happy Holidays! ~ Lindsey P.
