Hi Evelyn,
I love all of the
various pools at the WDW Resorts, it is so much fun swimming in the themed pools at Disney! I am sure you must be talking about
Stormalong Bay Pool which is located at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. This is more than just a pool in my opinion it is more like a 3 acre Water Park and unfortunately, you must be staying at either the Yacht or Beach Club Resorts in order to enjoy this pool. They are very strict at WDW with visiting other Resort's pools apart from if you are a guest staying in any one of the Value Resorts where you would then be able to visit any of the Value Resorts and enjoy all of their pools there.
Don't feel too bad though, because the Animal Kingdom Lodge has two incredible pools. There is the main pool, the Uzima pool which is an 11,000-square-foot, zero-depth entry pool, includes a 67-foot long slide and is the perfect place to cool off and have fun. Surrounded by large canopy trees and Floridian palms, Uzima includes a wading pool for young ones while 2 adjacent hot tubs provide a haven for relaxation. There is also a pool located in Kidani Village (which is the Disney Vacation Club part of this Resort), the Samawati Springs pool which is a 4,700-square-foot, zero-depth entry pool with a 128-foot long slide and is the perfect place to cool off and have fun. Surrounded by large canopy trees and Floridian palms, Samawati Springs includes 2 adjacent hot tubs providing a haven for rest and relaxation. I hope you have a wonderful trip to WDW and enjoy swimming in the pools at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Best wishes,
Brigitta
