I noticed that last summer Paddle Boarding was only eligible to those 18 years and older at Castaway Cay. Has this changed? My son will be 10 when we cruise in March and is an expert Paddle Boarder, eager to do this activity with me at the Cay. Thanks

    Ahoy, Katherine!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question. I'm so happy to hear you'll be sailing on a Disney Cruise itinerary that includes a stop at Disney private island, Castaway Cay. It's most definitely my favorite place in all the world!

I've checked into Paddle Boarding at Castaway Cay, part of the Boat Rental Port Adventure on the island. There's a large variety of boats and aqua rentals your son can enjoy as part of this adventure: Aqua Trike, Paddle Boats, Sea Kayaks, Hobie Cats and Fun Kats. Unfortunately, the age limit for Paddle Boarding is still listed as 18 and up.

I hope you and your son can find a Port Adventure that you can enjoy together. You can find a full listing of the adventures available to you right here. We like to try a different adventure every time we visit!

Please let us know if you have any more questions before you set sail in March - we're happy to help!
    Have a magical day! - Diane W.
