Hello! I noticed that there are items at many popular places that count as a snack credit. For example, the French onion soup at Be Our Guest is a snack credit. Is there a way to get those items without dining reservations? Thank you! Brandi

    Hi Brandi!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a very good question!

You can usually use a Snack entitlement from your Disney Dining Plan to purchase a snack or side at Quick-Service locations such as Be Our Guest Restaurant (breakfast and lunch only, since dinner is a Table-Service experience). Although not required, I highly recommend making reservations for this very popular Magic Kingdom restaurant, as the wait time for walk-ins is usually very long. This location accepts advance dining reservations for their Quick-Service meals, and you can book online, by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app. Other Quick-Service locations don’t require reservations, and please keep in mind that you will not be able to use a Snack credit at Table-Service restaurants.

Since we are talking about snacks, let me tell you that my favorite place to redeem snack credits is Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France pavilion at the World Showcase at Epcot, and I also love to use credits to buy Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bars and Dole Whip Floats from Aloha Isle at Magic Kingdom Park.

I hope this helps you while planning, Brandi. Please come back real soon with more questions.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
