I noticed there are FastPass reservations for parades and fireworks and for some events they are booked. Is making a reservation for them necessary or can you simply show up or observe the event? And how is FastPass work for such events?

    Hi David,

Thanks so much for stopping by with your question! Using a FastPass+ selection is not required in order to enjoy nighttime entertainment in the Walt Disney World theme parks. The FastPass+ selection simply allows you to access a reserved seating/viewing area.

We tend not to use our FastPass+ selections for parades or fireworks as we never have a problem finding a great viewing location. We like to find a spot early, have a snack, and play a few games while we wait for the entertainment to begin.

I hope this helps, David. Please feel free to follow up with me if you have any other questions.

    Have a magical day,
