I’ve noticed that the DAS criteria has changed. Due to having two children with limitations, one with epilepsy and another with hemiparesis, I wanted to inquire if my children would qualify for DAS. Our immediate group is of 5 and our family joining us 4.

Hiya Adriana, and welcome to planDisney!

As you mentioned, Disability Access Service (DAS) at the Walt Disney World Resort is changing after May 19, 2024. To discuss your family's situation for your upcoming June visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, you will want to speak with a Cast Member via live video chat as soon as 30 days in advance of your visit. They should be able to provide more information and advice on your situation. Additionally, you will want to continue to check for updates on the Walt Disney World website leading up to your visit.

Adriana, if for some reason your family no longer qualifies for DAS, please know that there have also been updates to Accessibility Services and a wide variety of supports is available to Guests with different abilities during their visit. The Walt Disney World Accessibility Guide may also have helpful information for you and your family so I recommend checking it out.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful visit, Adriana! My new favorite attraction is Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana in EPCOT. It is playful and interactive, and I think your kids would love it! Be sure to grab a Disney PhotoPass picture in front of Te Fiti near the attraction exit.

Thank you for stopping by. Please visit us again with any other planning questions you may have!

    See you in the parks,
    Melissa
