I just noticed the dance competition on Feb 1 and 2nd Feb 2014. We are scheduled the 28th thru the 4th at Pop century. How much should this impact us? Should we plan a different place to stay ? Thanks. How will this affect crowds too.

    Hi Angel!

Pop Century Resort is my all time favorite Value Resort in Walt Disney World!  Pop Century is a large Resort and a dance competition will have little to no impact on that Resort.  The only thing you might notice would be an increased noise level in the pool areas or central areas between the buildings (if the dance competition participants decide to practice outside at the Pop Century Resort).  For a room that is quieter I would request a room on the fourth floor that faces away from any pool or common area (the areas in the middle of the buildings). So I would recommend that you keep your reservation at the Pop Century Resort!

I hope that you have a magical stay in Pop Century on your next Walt Disney World vacation!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
