I've noticed that some of the 2010 Cruises can already be booked, but that the Land & Sea pkgs are only booking until Dec 2009. When will we be able to book for May 2010? I would like to book as early as possible in order to get the early dinner seat

WDW resort rates for the following year are usually not released until August. It is the Land portion of the Land and Sea package that is holding up the availability of booking a Land and Sea package for 2010.

My recommendation is to book those components of your trip separately. Our family has saved a considerable amount by reserving our cruise and WDW resort independently.

You can then go ahead and reserve the cruise portion of your trip now.

When the rates for Walt Disney World resorts are released in August, you can then make choose your Disney resort. In fact, you could book your resort now, but it will be at the 2009 rate for your deposit. Once 2010 rates are released, your reservation would reflect any price increase. By booking your resort separately from your cruise, you will then be able to watch for discounts to be released on your WDW resort!

If needed, you can still add transfers to Port Canaveral aboard the Disney Cruise bus. Currently the cost is $69 per person for a round-trip transfer.
