Hello, I have noticed that on the 18th August Magic Kingdom closes at 7pm. We are booked into the park that day. What happens with the fireworks?

    Welcome to planDisney, Danny.

Adventure is out there! An upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort will make your joy soar to infinity and beyond. If you're interested in makin' memories, then get your camera ready! The 50th Anniversary Celebration has plenty of EARidescent excitement for you to experience and enjoy.

I've just looked on the Walt Disney World Resort calendar and Magic Kingdom Park does indeed close at 7:00 PM on August 18. Unfortunately, that does mean that Disney Enchantment will not be shown that day. The sun doesn't set until around 8:00 PM in Orlando during that time of the year. Therefore, Disney usually waits until it gets nice and dark before they show their nighttime spectaculars.

If you'd like to see a nighttime spectacular on that day, Danny, then you could always "hop" over EPCOT and watch Harmonious. That show is likely to be at 9:00 PM on August 18 and will be a great way to end the day. You could also try and ride Remy's Ratatouille Adventure beforehand too!

I hope that's clarifying, Danny. Have an enchanting trip!
