    I notice the registration for next years marathon has not open. Will there be an email alert for when it opens?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are delighted to answer your question regarding your upcoming Walt Disney World trip to compete in the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend!

    OK...so I put on my investigative reporter hat to find some marathon information for you. On the runDisney website, it states that competitors will be able to find out race registration information on June 1. I also called and spoke to a Cast Member, and she could only verify that information as well. There is a runDisney email sign up to receive notifications; however, she was unable to confirm if runDisney would send out a specific email alert for the marathon weekend. At this point, your best bet would be to check the runDisney website on June 1 for the most up-to-date race information.
