I notice that Interac (or Debit) is not as accessible in the US as it is here in Canada. What forms of payment do restaurants and shops accept at WDW? Our vacation is all booked and paid for, but need to know what form of funds we should carry on resort!

    Hi, Lynette!

You are welcome to use cash, credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, travelers checks, or charge to your room.  Some stand-alone kiosks or street vendors (balloons, etc)  may only accept cash, but most are able to accommodate most forms of payment.

My guess is that the easiest thing would be to have some American dollars for small items, then simply charge everything back to your room so you can pay with any form you wish.  Good luck!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
