Hi, I notice that Chef Mickey's is located at the convention centre until December - can you tell me where will it be located after December? We are visiting at the end of April / early May. Can we get there from the Magic Kingdom easily? Thanks

Hi Tina, Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Are you getting so excited for your trip? Just a few more months to go!

Chef Mickey's dining room and kitchen area, which are located at Disney's Contemporary Hotel, had temporarily moved to a room around the corner and down the hall in the Contemporary's Convention Center that was basically under the same roof as the original location. But good news! The renovation will be complete by the time your family visits in April/May, and Chef Mickey and his kitchen pals will be back to serving guests in their new and improved dining room. They can't wait to see your family and show you how great it looks!

Disney's Contemporary Resort is hands down the most easily accessible Resort Hotel from Magic Kingdom Park. You may walk there, if you wish, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes from the gate to the front door. Or better yet, you can take the iconic Monorail. There are two monorail loops that travel in opposite directions of each other, so make sure you get on the 'Resort Monorail' loop. Disney's Contemporary Resort will actually be the first stop after you board at Magic Kingdom Park. The ride will take about 5 minutes, but the wait can be as long as up to 15 or 20 minutes.

I hope this helped with your vacation plans, Tina. Don't forget to bring your camera as you're going to get a lot of time to pal around with Mickey and his gang, and we'll see you real soon!
