Noted packages payable in full 45 days before trip. Live in PA and driving down in January. Worried about snow on our end prob through VA. If we get blizzard and cant get there on correct day, how much will we lose? Planning 6 nights!

Hi Vicki!  You are certainly brave to plan a drive from Pennsylvania in the middle of winter! I love being on the road but hate the nasty stuff that can be dumped making a trip stressful.

The Disney package rules and regulations are pretty firm and they will state they will not refund for unused portions of the package. You can save money by buying the package but it does tie you down on your dates.  If you are concerned about weather I suggest you purchase the package insurance. This will give you a bit of relief from the stress that winter can offer. If possible leave a day or so early and take your time and add a night on the road. This would be less expensive for the extra night somewhere then to lose out on part of the package. But I will be thinking only sunshine and clear skies for you come January!
