I note that the reservations for the Blue Bayou are full for the next 60 days. I don't arrive until Nov 20. What time in the morning of Sept 14 (60 days before Nov 20) do I need to wake up in order to get a reservation? What time of day do they start?

Hey there, hi there, Richard! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney again with another question. We are so glad you're here!

Blue Bayou is probably the most sought-after reservation, so I'm glad to hear you are trying to get a plan in place to try to make your dinner dreams come true! If I were you, I would be up, logged into your Dinsey account, and ready to refresh the reservations page just before 6:00 a.m., that day. That seems to be the time that reservations have been dropping recently. However, I also want to make you aware that this isn't always when the reservations drop for Disneyland Resort. Some drop later in the day or even in the week, so just keep checking.

If you aren't successful in grabbing a reservation, I suggest checking randomly up until your visit and especially within the day or two before the day you are wanting a reservation. This is when a lot of Guests end up making changes or cancellations.

You also could try checking at the podium in front of Blue Bayou the day of your visit when it opens and kindly ask the Cast Member if they are taking any same-day reservations. There is not a guarantee, but I have been able to get a table that way a time or two.

Richard, I really hope you are able to get a reservation and can enjoy Blue Bayou with the Pirates of the Caribbean boats floating by on your next visit. Thanks again for stopping by!
