Hi Pamela!
I'm so excited you will be visiting Walt Disney World for your child's birthday. One thing I can tell you for sure...no one does celebrations better than Disney! The best way to be sure everyone knows it is a special day for your little prince or princess is to make a point of telling them all along the way. Take a minute before your visit to call your
Resort and ask them to make note of it. On your arrival day, be sure to mention it to the Cast Member when you check-in, as well. When arriving for your
Advanced Dining Reservations, don't forget to let them in on the news. Another great way to announce to everyone you see that it is your child's special day: stop by
Guest Services when you enter the Park and ask for a Personalized Birthday Button. We did this with our 3 year old granddaughter a few months ago and it seemed as though every Cast Member we passed along the way would wish her a Happy Birthday. I can still see the excited look on her face with every wish made to her along the way. It was so much fun!
If you would like more ideas for ways to make his or her day even more special, take a minute to visit the
Customize Your Celebration page of the Walt Disney World website. You will love the many options available!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Here's wishing you a magical vacation--sprinkled with lots and lots of birthday Pixie Dust! Have a wonderful time.
