Hi, Louis! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I'm so happy that you will get to celebrate an anniversary at the Walt Disney World Resort! Honestly, I can't think of a more magical way to celebrate a Happily Ever After! You're going to live so many magical moments!
Since the
My Disney Experience app and DisneyWorld.com are now the
preferred home for booking and modifying table service dining reservations, the best way to note your anniversary is at check-in. Most Cast Members, in fact, will ask you if you're celebrating a special occasion. If they forget to, you're more than welcome to tell them! They will be happy to know you chose to join them for such a special moment!
My husband and I celebrated our last anniversary with a few special dinners. The most memorable ones were at
California Grill at
Disney's Contemporary Resort, and
Jiko - The Cooking Place at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. The bread service at Jiko - The Cooking Place was especially remarkable, as was the
Mrouzia-style Moroccan Lamb Shank.
If you wish to celebrate this special milestone at a Theme Park, the
Happily Ever After Fireworks Show is my favorite attraction to do it at, because it highlights the journey and the challenges we all experience in our own lives. It brings me to tears every time!
Both the
Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing and the
Magic Kingdom After-Fireworks Dessert Party offer great viewing spots. They could be perfect closings for your
Magic Kingdom Park day. The desserts will be as delicious as the memories!
I hope you have an unforgettable celebration at the Walt Disney World Resort, Louis! If more questions pop up before you make more arrangements for this trip, please, don't hesitate to come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love to help!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
