We have not been to WDW since 2015 and are planning a short trip for January 2019.Both of the kids will be over 10 by then. There have been so many changes since then, What are the must do's for 2019?

    Hi Shekinah,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm SO excited to hear that you'll be returning to the Walt Disney World Resort with your Mouseketeers! While you'll still find the same sense of magic and wonder that was there before, there have also been a few changes and additions that I think you'll REALLY love!

First, I'd definitely encourage you to check out Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the two newest lands. They're both incredibly immersive, so definitely take some time to notice and appreciate all of the little details. Both lands offer some delicious dining options along with some amazing new attractions. You'll feel like you're visiting a completely different world at Pandora - The World of Avatar, and at Toy Story Land, kids of all ages will love feeling like a toy in Andy's backyard. Be sure to enjoy these lands both during the day and again at night, as they both come to life in a new way after dark.

Beyond those two new lands, you'll find lots of new Frozen fun, with Frozen Ever After at Epcot and For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Disney's Hollywood Studios. There's also lots of great new features on the My Disney Experience app, plus you'll now be able to make three FastPass+ selections ahead of time and use the My Disney Experience app or an in-park kiosk to make unlimited additional selections, one at a time, until the theme parks close. Finally, I'd consider Happily Ever After, the spectacular new fireworks show at Magic Kingdom Park, a must-do! Amazing technology combined with beloved stories and a moving soundtrack create the perfect finale to a day filled with magic and fun.

With so many wonderful new things to see and do, I hope that you have a truly magical vacation, Shekinah!
