Brooke from ME Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Is there a consequence/penalty for not using a fast pass? And what about a dining reservation?

Hello, Brooke! Get ready for the vacation of a lifetime! FastPass+ and dining reservations make planning a breeze, don't they? I personally can't do without either.

When you schedule your FastPass+ reservations on your My Disney Experience, you’ll be able to see them at any time.  If your lunch at Casey’s Corner runs a little long (or you get stuck singing along with the Piano Player), you’ll be happy to know you can log on to My Disney Experience via your smart phone and change your Fast Passes with just a few clicks. There's no penalty at all. Did you know that after you use your first three FastPass+ reservations in a day, you can log back on and make three more? How easy is that? All your favorite rides in one day.

As far as dining reservation cancellation policies, each dining establishment at Walt Disney World Resort keeps it’s own cancellation policy. You can read more about each of them during the reservation process, or by calling (407) 939-5277. Many resorts have a 24-hour cancellation policies or you will be charged the full amount (in the case of a dinner show like Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue) or a per-person amount (like Tony’s Town Square).

Please stop back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for more help planning your magical vacation! ~Lindsey P.
