We are not using the dining plan and have a group of 7. Can we split checks at a restaurant and can each person use their magic band to pay if they have set up credit cards?

Hello Jeffrey and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such an important question about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort.
For me, one of the greatest pleasures of enjoying a Disney trip with a large group of family or friends is that we can all dine together in some of the enchanting dining locations the most magical place on earth has to offer!  I'm happy to share with you that in my own experience I've never encountered an issue with splitting the check at the end of a meal or with everyone paying differently with either cash, credit card or via MagicBand.  My top tip for ensuring a smooth transaction would be to let your server know at the beginning of the meal that you wish to split the check and you aren't using the Disney Dining Plan on this occasion.
I must tell you that my favourite 'large party' restaurant is Biergarten Restaurant within the Germany Pavilion at Epcot; I love this delicious dining spot for it's long communal tables, terrifically tasty food, great German beer and of course the fun entertainment from the live Oompah style band!  Advanced Dining Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance via My Disney Experience mobile app
    Have a great Disney day.
