Greetings, Ron!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Kicking off
the holiday season at the Happiest Place on Earth sounds practically perfect in every way!
I'm glad you are already familiar with a couple of my very favorite restaurants at the Disneyland Resort.
Blue Bayou Restaurant serves up some of the best cuisine and features the most unique atmosphere of any restaurant in the parks. I always splurge for the filet and lobster dish here as it's prepared perfectly. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Plus, seeing boats from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction under a night sky will make for such a memorable evening.
Carthay Circle Restaurant takes you into the golden age of Hollywood with delectable dishes and cocktails. I love that I feel I have been swept away into another era when I step into this restaurant.
When it comes to booking one of the many dining packages available for entertainment at the Disneyland Resort, you can always call Disneyland Dining to see if your reservation can be converted into one of these packages at (714) 781-3463. Since these are based on availability of their respective viewing locations, it is not guaranteed so I recommend calling to ask before your trip. I'm sorry that we are unsure about the return of World of Color, but you will still have unforgettable dining experiences at these locations no matter what. Plus you will be able to see limited time seasonal entertainment like the "Believe...in Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular and A Christmas Fantasy Parade during your trip.
I hope this helps, and have a Fantasmic day!
