Greetings, Lauren, and welcome to planDisney! Don't the
holiday-themed dining experiences at Storytellers Cafe look so fun? I'm really excited for Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast, and have some insights from booking a reservation for my family that I'll share. Let's make sure you're set up for your upcoming trip!
Lauren, dining reservations don’t always open exactly 60 days in advance – the day and time can vary by location. The holiday offerings at Storytellers Cafe became available mid-morning on October 2, 2025. Reservations seem to be appearing on a rolling basis, up to 60 days in advance. It's possible that you checked a little early. The good news, however, is that, at the time of writing this, there are still reservations available for many dates. If you haven't already, go ahead and make your reservation!
If there is a certain day and time you are hoping for that isn't available, my advice is to just keep checking. There's always a chance that a reservation may become available due to other Guests modifying their plans.
The question is, will you head to Storytellers Cafe for breakfast, brunch, or dinner? Guests can enjoy Daisy’s Holiday Pajama Party in the morning or Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast in the evening. The Characters will have special outfits to match the theme, and you'll have plenty of chances to take photos between trips to the buffet. Whichever you choose, I'm sure you'll eat well, have fun, and leave a little merrier.
And speaking of merry, the Disneyland Resort is extra magical
during the holiday season. Joyful decorations, themed merchandise, seasonal overlays of popular attractions – these are a few of my favorite things! The entertainment, however, is what really sets it apart.
Don't miss
A Christmas Fantasy Parade, which features dancing reindeer, marching toy soldiers, and Disney Characters. The nightly tree lighting on Main Street, U.S.A. and the
illumination of Sleeping Beauty Castle will warm your heart. Most of all, make sure you see the
"Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular. I always get goosebumps when the "snow" starts to fall as part of the show. You'll want to make sure you're watching from “it’s a small world,” Main Street, U.S.A., or the Rivers of America, so you don't miss that.
Lauren, I'm sprinkling a little pixie dust and making a wish that you were able to get the reservation you were hoping for. Your holiday visit awaits! If you think of any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Kriss
