Hello there, Kelly!
I’m so glad you found planDisney to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You don’t need to feel like you are Queen Elsa going “Into the Unknown” with our tips and tricks.
First things first, every member of your family ages three and older will need a valid form of
admission, a
theme park reservation for every day you plan on visiting the theme parks, and a way to enter the theme parks (i.e., MagicBand+, MagicBand,
Disney MagicMobile pass, or an admission card). I like to look at the table at the bottom of this website to
“Compare Features” between the different modes of entry. Oftentimes, I’ll bring my MagicBand and Disney MagicMobile pass for myself just to have options.
I suggest linking each member of your party’s admission, theme park reservation, and mode of entry to their individual
My Disney Experience accounts. Please note that once a MagicBand is linked to a Guest,
it cannot be reassigned to another person. You can link your MagicBand to your My Disney Experience account by going to the
“MagicBands and Cards” and pressing “Link” at the bottom of the page.
Next, you’ll want to make sure that your family is linked to your account. Go to your
“My Family & Friends List” and see if your family is already listed under “People I Have Plans With.” If not, you can manually link each member of your family to your account by pressing “Add a Guest” at the bottom of the page. Once your family is linked together, you can make dining reservations, purchase
Disney Genie+ service, make selections for
Lightning Lane entrances, and so much more for your entire party. I would recommend having each member of your party make sure they are linked to the rest of the group.
You are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during one of my favorite times of the year. If you’d like to continue this conversation for more detail or follow-up questions, please don’t hesitate to
reach out directly.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
