Michael from MO Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Not sure my question sent so doing it again. We are booked for our 5th Disney Cruise this year leaving on June 8th. When can I start booking onboard activities? Is it after I pay in full or a certain number of days before the cruise is scheduled?

Ahoy, Michael! One of my favorite cruise playlist songs is "When Can I See You Again?" by Owl City. It looks like we can both answer this question "June 8." Welcome, fellow shipmate! I frequently check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the countdown. This morning: 127 days until we greet Captains Mickey and Minnie and celebrate with the Sail Away deck party. It is definitely time to start thinking about everything we want to add to our "My Plans" lists.

With this being your fifth Disney Cruise Line adventure, you get the benefit of booking with Silver Castaway Club members, which is 90 days before your departure date. Specifically, this is March 10 for your cruise. To book Onboard Activities and Port Adventures, you must be paid in full and within your booking window.

You can check the app under your reservation or online under "Already Booked" to see the specific dates for when you can book activities and when you can check in and select your port arrival time (May 6 for Silver on a June 8 cruise). Both of these dates are midnight Eastern, so I mark them on my calendar the day before to remember to stay up late.

And congratulations, Michael! When you see Mickey waving and saying "SEA Ya Real Soon" on signs as you disembark, you will automagically be transformed from Silver to Gold Castaway Club level. On your next cruise, you will be able to book cruise activities 105 days before you sail. If you do a little shimmy as you feel the pixie dust, everyone will understand.

As a fellow Disney Cruise Line fan, I am sure you know about the onboard-only offer. I always purchase the placeholder to save 10% on a future cruise. It is super easy to do right from the app. And knowing I will be answering my Owl City song with "Real soon" means never having to say "Goodbye."

If we are on the same ship and you see me on board, please say "hi!" I love meeting happy cruisers on the most magical ships on the sea.

We'll be selecting that "At the Port" button on the app and connecting to DCL Wifi soon.

    Bon Voyage!
