Hi! Not sure if you can help, but I found great airfare flying in to orlando/sanford arprt. How far of a drive would it be from there to wdw dolphin? searching the internet, travel varies from 1-3 hours dont know what is accurate?

    Hi there Mark,

When I lived in North Carolina I commonly flew into the Sanford airport because I could snag great deals flying on Allegiant Air.  Travel time does vary depending on your method of transportation, but the airport is located roughly 35 miles away from Walt Disney World.

By car or taxi, it usually takes about 40 minutes with might traffic.  If you are taking a shuttle, depending on the carrier and number of stops, the travel time could take up to an hour and a half or more.  You can check with the shuttle provider for more information in the number of stops and how they affect travel time!

    Best Wishes,
